As has been widely reported in the press, there's been a surge in topics being moderated and censored by social media platforms. Grabowski said this trend “very troubling” — especially with an upcoming U.S. election.
“It’s becoming like Chinese-style censorship where dissident viewpoints and even certain words and phrases are forbidden," he told Epoch Times, a daily international newspaper with a circulation over 1 million. "And, while such censorship doesn’t violate the First Amendment, it isn’t keeping with the spirit of freedom of speech.”
Grabowski was also quoted in a follow-up story.
