Mark Grabowski has given talks across the United States and around the world. As a professor, lawyer and columnist, he has expertise on a range of topics related to politics, law, technology and journalism.
For example, in 2019, Grabowski spoke at National University of Singapore on legal challenges facing eSports. He was invited to Taipei to speak on cryptocurrency laws at a 2018 tech conference. In 2017, he spoke at Vanderbilt University Law School on the importance of viewpoint diversity in academia. In 2016, he spoke at the University of Hong Kong's Asia Institute for Political Economy on the U.S.'s controversial plan for the internet. In 2014, he gave a sold out TEDx talk in Shanghai on "The Battle for Control of the Internet." In 2013, he spoke at Charles University in Prague on internet governance. In 2012, he was invited by the American Graduate School in Paris to speak about the media's role in elections. He's also spoken at various colleges and to groups on issues such as media careers and crisis communications.
