     Mark Grabowski is an op-ed contributor to the Washington Examiner. In 2015, he won 1st Place from the Press Club of Long Island for best commentary.
     Previously, he worked as a journalist for five years for large newspapers and popular websites. He has covered the suburbs for the Providence Journal, manned the night cops beat for the Arizona Republic and served as state capital bureau chief for a Pennsylvania newspaper chain, tracked Congress for a wire service. His award-winning, investigative reporting ultimately led to a corrupt town administrator being convicted.
     In addition to journalism, Mark has published two books, several book chapters and more than a dozen academic journal articles. Check out his research for more details.
