Mark Grabowski is an associate professor, specializing in online media, internet law and digital ethics, at Adelphi University in Long Island.
He also teaches an online course in media law at Marymount Manhattan College.Mark's courses examine many of the legal, policy and ethical issues raised by the emergence and dominance of the Internet as a means for communication, commerce and social interaction.
As a columnist and former newspaper reporter, Mark also has an interest in journalism and has taught courses in newswriting, web journalism, media relations and media ethics. In January 2016, took journalism students to Cuba to report on the changes underway.
He is very active in journalism education beyond campus. His website CubReporters.org receives more than 50,000 visitors per month. It's been endorsed by Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism and Harvard University’s Office of Career Services, named the #1 job resource for recent journalism grads by Society of News Design and has been mentioned in dozens of media outlets.
Mark also serves on the Board of Visitors for the Institute on Political Journalism in Washington, D.C. He regularly gives talks around the country on journalism and media law.
